PERSONAL LINKS

Our oldest son, Aaron, as a young gymnast, inspired my first book, Shrimpboat and Gym Bags.  He and his wife Debbie are owners of Devoted Guardians, a non-medical home health care agency Phoenix area.  We enjoy hanging out with them and their sons, Brayden Raine and Logan Casey, when we winter in Arizona. Aaron was chosen by the Arizona Republic as "35 under 35" and featured in their business section.

Our middle son, Rudi, runs Kettle Heroes, an artisan kettle and popcorn company in the Phoenix area.  He has two sons, Akiva Gilad and Hillel David.

Our youngest son, Josh, and his wife Julia live in Shrewsbury, MA.  He is a computer architect, and the father of Elon Max and our first granddaughter, Irina Mazel.  Our dream of finding a lakefront home near them where we will spend our summers has been realized; I've changed my long-time Wisconsin residency to become a Massachusetts resident.

In January, 2003, I graduated with an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College and decided to drop my maiden name from my byline.
